Whereas other nations quickly evolved on a technological scale, Kjerag was always a closed-borders nation until recently, and it set the country back decades on development. That said, with the lay of the land, commercial electricity and cell phone towers would be difficult to establish anyhow. The country only recently began such ventures to ease an expanding infrastructure...

But I digress. I think I told you this before, but Kjerag is a cold, wintery, religious nation. Kjeragandr is our patron Goddess, and the Saintess — the woman who represents Her will — lives atop Mount Karlan, a sacred peak. I've only been a scant few times in my life.
